True enough. Like I said, it was originally just intended to let people know I was leaving for awhile. Later, after I got back on, someone made it a "sticky" topic and changed the title a bit so it would be usable "whenever" I had to be gone for awhile.
Since then, I have used it to explain to CLKers what I'm doing here, so they can understand what's going on. I kinda think of it as an ongoing "personal announcement", like someone posting about a major event (like a death in the family or graduating from a school).
If you think it's inappropriate to have it here, please tell KKB and purrfectprincess. They are site moderators now, and because I am the person this is about, I must "recuse" myself from the decision (that means, I take myself out of making the decision).

ANNOUNCEMENT
The first couple of weeks in April I will be busy with what the Army calls, "Warrior Leader Course". It is to train lower-ranking people like me how to be better leaders. It's something I was told to volunteer for! lol But for that time, I simply won't be able to be on here as much. I won't be truly "gone", just not on as much.
Please understand.

I have requested a "military leave" from my Section Editor position. From what I have learned about this training, it will be a lot more than I thought, and I might not be able to be on much at all. Please, everyone help TB, KKB, and PP watch the Section A forums.
I'll post more information when I have it.

Thank you, Karen2! But don't worry. I have no doubt the site will be just fine for the time.
Just had a minute to answer PMs and post this. Things are busier than I thought they would be, but everything is okay.
