Well I read this book on holiday, which is actually a true story. It made my heart melt- it was about a kitten in Iowa that was dumped in a library drop box on the coldest day of the year, and became a library cat that became so famous that when he died the news of his death reached Japan

I was wondering if any of you had read Dewey? If so, what did you think of it? Smile

I read it and it was a very heart-warming story. I almost went to the end, but the book was a special at the library so I had to return it after 7 days. But I expected a death at the end.

I rate it 5 stars out of 5!

Dewey!!!

Great book. I saw it advertised on Amazon and ordered it just because it looked nice. I'd never heard of him before, and had no idea it was a New York Times best seller. I recommend it to everybody.

Also, there is supposed to be a movie coming out (probably not for a year or so) based on the book. The article I read said it would have Meryl Streep in the leading role. How she can play a cat, I wonder. LOLOLOL But truly, she does look like Vickie Myron, the librarian who wrote the book. And while I don't particularly care for Streep, she does look like Vickie Myron.
