Hi, im new here and this is my first post Very Happy but I've been using cutelittlekittens since, like, 2006.

I have two gorgeous korats. They're both female. But sometimes I don't get what they're trying to tell me. Can somebody help clear this up and fill in the blanks?

Ears pulled back:
Ears twitching when touched:
Cat backing away:
Ears up:
Tail flicking:
Shaking their head after being petted:
And when I try to pet one of them, Roxie, she always looks up at my hand and it makes it harder to pet her. Why is this? :

Gah, I used to know this... Ok, I'll guess.

Ears pulled back: They could be mad, hea a weird noise,
Ears twitching when touched: When they feel tickled or they're focused on something else.
Cat backing away: Maybe the cat needs a break?
Ears up: Maybe interested in something.
Tail flicking: Friendly mood, affectionate, or something
Shaking their head after being petted: Probably, trying to get the fur back where she wants it or to get the human scent off.
The last one: My cats do this, I think it means the same as the cat backing away.

Welcome to CLK by the way.
